Music
All TK-3rd Grade Students at Northwood receive elementary music on Tuesdays with Mrs. Butler. Using the philosophy of Education Through Music children are exposed to song, movement games, social skill building and problem solving while engaging in the building blocks of what it takes to become musically literate. Focus on the building of the imagination, while developing an awareness of pitch, beat, rhythmic acuity, and form are just some of the goals of her work with the students. Students in the older grades often begin to learn to sing cannons, rounds and partner songs.
4th & 5th grade Music is every Monday! Please help your student Be Responsible by remembering their instrument each week!
